We carry a range of Weld on  Plates to suit a wide range of R.S.J’s. These include IPE160, IPE180, IPE200, IPE220 in 2-Hole, 4-Hole & 8-Hole formats. These can be collected from our Trade Counter or delivery can be arranged upon request.

Cap Plates:                 A cap plate is a flat steel plate welded to the very top of a steel column to join two  Beams

Base Plates:                A base plate is a steel plate welded to the bottom of a column, which is then bolted directly into the concrete foundation.

Apex Plate:                 An apex plate (or ridge plate) is used at the highest point of a portal frame—the peak of the roof—where two sloping rafters meet.
