General Information
Cleader angle is generally used to provide a fixing face at the top of gable ends. The image above illustrates a typical assembly with cleader fixed to the underside of the purlin, it may also be fixed to the purlin top flange. It is supplied in standard 6m lengths and may be either screw fixed or bolted to the roof purlins. If bolting is to be used the erector must provide all necessary drilling as standard cleader angle is supplied without punching.
The profile dimensions are 70 x 70 and the material thickness used is 2mm. Standard Cleader angle is supplied in galvanised finish however it may be supplied in prepainted steel by special order. How to order
The code and drawings for standard cleader angle are included in the table below. To order the customer must specify the quantity of lengths required (note standard length 6m). If an alternative profile or material is required this should be clearly communicated at time of order.
